《亞洲美術雙年展》已先後舉辦了兩屆。為進一步推展和增進亞洲與歐美各國藝術家的參與，故第三屆啟用名為《2020 亞太藝術雙年展》。此屆展覽旨在加強亞太各國和地區之間的文化藝術交流，促進大家的互學互助，呈現具國際視野和新時代面貌的多元文化藝術創作。展覽內容將涵蓋油畫、水彩、傳統水墨畫、現代水墨畫、攝影、雕塑與當代造型藝術等。
