The Garden of Voices is an the Arts Florissants’ academy of young singers. Since 2012 it has become an not-to-be-missed rendezvous for the public keen to discover the future voices of tomorrow. For the 9th session and for the 40th birthday of Les Arts Forissants, the Academy has chosen to present the new harvest, for the first time (not the first time to perform, the programme have been performed in the past edition already), in the interpretation of a full opera : La Finta Giardiniera written by Mozart when he was 18 years old. On the occasion of Le French May, The Arts Florissants’ Academy will recruit their future voices during their stay in Hong Kong. For the singers selected, Le Jardin des Voix represents a sure path into a professional career: many have found an agent through the academy’s concert tours and today many can be found on the stages of the greatest concert halls and opera houses. Moreover, a large majority of the soloists are re-enlisted in the productions of Les Arts Florissants such as former members Andre Morsch, Christopher Dumaux.
