Description
席勒是德國文化巨擘，與歌德齊名，更被譽為莎士比亞之後最偉大的戲劇家，可惜香港劇壇甚少搬演他
的劇作。其實本劇的英語版本在英國也是2005年才首次上演，之前為人熟悉的是唐納采尼改編的歌劇版
本Maria Stuarda，戲劇版本上演後證明原來的版本仍然震撼，倫敦西區的演出一票難求，在美國百老匯
搬演時更獲七項東尼獎提名，包括最佳重演劇目。劇中兩位女主角—瑪莉皇后及伊利莎伯女皇的對決扣
人心弦，由星級演讀員梁菲倚及伍潔茵飾演，加上魯文傑等鼎力支持，勢必令劇力發揮盡致，讓觀眾明
白這位德國大文豪的傑出之處。
