Step into Lousy’s world with an immersive, site specific installation enveloping the 宀 space for both the 宀 Gallery weekday exhibition [Wed 18 - Fri 20 March] and 宀 Club weekend parties [Fri 20 / Sat 21 March]. Lousy’s free, intuitive and symbolic markings, found all over our city, will cover the walls, pillars, bathrooms and corridors for a week of special events. LOUSY LOUNGE integrates large scale canvas paintings from the artist’s studio practice with “bombing”, a street art style that plasters vast surfaces of any material. The exhibition also launches accessibly priced, limited edition prints by Lousy in collaboration with 宀 Gallery, to ensure art acquisition is available to all. Lousy started tagging in 2016, now you can find everything from hand drawn stickers on any street corner to large scale murals producing in collaboration with HK Walls. Lousy’s world encompasses more than just the streets, he creates zine’s, clothing, sculptures, mixed media artwork and live paintings on human bodies. Lousy has collaborated with brands such as Adidas and Ecko. In 2017 he presented his first solo show at J-01, followed by “Lousy Bedroom” in 2018 at the artist lead space, Bedroom.
