鑑於新型冠狀病毒疫情嚴峻，本會經過開會商議後， 最終忍痛決定取消今年6月7日舉辦［2020全港龍舟邀請大賽〕及晚宴活動。
明白各龍友對比賽之盼望， 但龍舟比賽時，健兒在海上帶口罩比較容易濕透， 而坐的位置都是近距離，所以無奈地取消比賽。
本會多謝各龍舟隊伍及會長，一直以來的支持，會繼續努力，
期待疫情盡快離開，能舉辦更多活動 ！
