為慶祝「2020 香港國際博物館日」，香港海事博物館將於 5 月 16 至 17 日免費開放予公眾參觀。配合今年香港國際博物館日「建構平等的博物館：多元與共融」的主題，博物館特別與香港盲人輔導會及香港城市大學「燈塔古蹟保育研習實踐」項目合 作，舉辦一系列以本港百年燈塔及多元與包容為主題的特備節目。
