前海軍艾莉(露比蘿絲 飾)身負保護美國駐羅馬尼亞大使之責，在執行任務時被恐佈份子以火箭炮偷襲，大使一家不幸當場喪命，艾莉逃出生天卻患上創傷後遺症，退役後在紐約做著大廈門衛的工作。就在她打算從此遠離殺戮，平靜地過活時，偶然聽到了僱傭兵首領(尚連奴 飾)與同伴打算不擇手段的破壞大廈，以取回隱藏在建築物中的珍貴藝術品，而這幅藝術品就隱藏在大廈房間的深處…
