編舞大師巴蘭欽因緣際會於紐約第五大道上的法國珠寶名牌Van Cleef & Arpels 梵克雅寶那裡獲得靈感，創作出矚目的傑作《珠寶》。自1967年首演以來，一直是最著名的二十世紀作品之一。這齣耀眼的三幕芭蕾舞頌揚珍貴寶石的優美與魅力:〈綠寶石〉散發著法式浪漫風格、〈紅寶石〉則是對美國朝氣與活力的讚美、〈鑽石〉呈現的是俄羅斯帝王的富麗堂皇。樂團現場演繹弗瑞、史特拉汶斯基和柴可夫斯基的動人旋律，配合舞台上的璀燦服飾，現代經典芭蕾舞《珠寶》就是艷魅的代名詞! 製作/參與人員 主辦: 香港芭蕾舞團 編舞: 喬治‧巴蘭欽©The George Balanchine Trust 音樂: 弗瑞, 史達拉汶斯基, 柴可夫斯基 服裝設計: 凱林斯卡 燈光設計: 陳焯華 現場伴奏: 香港城市室樂團 指揮: 克洛蒂德 · 柯廸蘭度 〈紅寶石〉鋼琴: 張緯晴
