陶藝創作好比種植，同樣重視對泥土的水份控制，需要掌握適當的乾濕度。在勞動性的創作過程中將能量轉化為養分，「植物」透過重覆性的實驗和手捏塑造而成型。展覽《造植種物》中，施美婷（L7-21）結合陶泥造物及菲林影像創作，裝置一系列以花為題的作品來貫穿整個光影空間，營造「異花園」，其呈現著她對客觀世界的回應和期盼。以小見大，個人與集體的期盼彷彿在漆黑裡鏗鏘地展示著。
