For the first time in almost six months, classical music lovers gathered in a concert hall again for the inspiration of a live music performance. As the centrepiece of his stunning programme, the award-winning pianist shared his unique interpretation of Busoni’s kaleidoscopic arrangement of Bach’s classic Goldberg Variations. Through the interviews with the audiences, the artist and the presenter, Premiere Performances’ first concert film documents the long-awaited return of live music during the pandemic.
