香港最大型的龍舟賽事「赤柱龍舟錦標賽 2022」因應疫情，將順延至 2022 年 10 月 2 日舉行。而 6 月 3 日端午正日，赤柱龍舟協會將以「赤柱龍舟賀端陽」代替正規龍舟賽事，當中包括小型的龍舟巡遊活動及祈福儀式，令市民可以繼續有端午節氣氛。
