At the age of three, he suffered from poliomyelitis. In spite of the physical disabilities, Sanjay still continues to paint and he is particularly in love with drawing horses. 【Bindu Space for Artists】 On 25 April 2015, a powerful 8.1 magnitude earthquake struck Nepal and killed 8000 people. The natural disaster devastated Nepal's capital city, Kathmandu. In the aftermath, Bindu Space for Artist in Kathmandu has conceived and organised various art events to support the artists who lost their homes in the earthquake. 【Himalayan Education and Development Nepal (HEAD Nepal)】 Chhitup Lama has severe visual impairment but he still rides a donkey up and down the hills to look up blind children and teach them braille, abacus, computer and how to use a cane. He teaches them different working skills as well. He set up Himalayan Education and Development Nepal (HEAD Nepal) in 2011. There is a mobile school and a boarding school serving 47 visual impairment and physically disabled students.
