電影以前世今⽣及魔⿁怪嬰降世為題，講述Sarah（何超儀 飾）與男友分手後，去東京購買房地產，並期望度過一個短暫而寧靜的假期。但陰差陽錯下，居住在一座由陰森老婦人（白川和子 飾）所經營的破舊私人民宿 “minipaku” 中，Sarah 漸漸發現自己與這所擁有神秘力量和不明歷史的房子有著某種深層的聯繫。
