這個樂季的《納布果》中，古巴比倫將以經典的聖經式佈景在大都會歌劇院舞台上呈現。男中音喬治．加尼德茲將首次在大都會歌劇院飾演專橫國王納布果；而女高音柳德買麥拉・莫納斯特爾斯卡則再度飾演復仇心切的女兒阿比蓋爾，展現攝人氣場。女中音瑪麗亞．巴拉科娃以及男高音白石鐘則飾演跨越政治界限相愛的情侶費里娜和伊斯梅爾；男低音德米特．貝洛澤爾斯基再度出演大祭司撒卡里亞一角。丹尼爾．卡萊加里負責指揮威爾第這齣早期振奮人心的傑作，更精心編排了由大都會合唱團呈獻的《希伯來奴隸合唱曲》。
