He seeks to preserve photographic memories and share his passion for photography with future generations, highlighting its power as a medium for storytelling. His series on rural life in 1970s Hong Kong reveals expansive farmlands and numerous fish ponds, where farmers and fishermen relied on their environment for their livelihoods. These images depict a simple yet hardworking existence, characterized by a quest for basic sustenance and stability.
In his work, Master Ho effectively contrasts the serene rural lifestyle with the transformation of Hong Kong from a modest fishing port and agricultural economy into a vibrant metropolis. This exhibition underscores the diverse experiences of the working population during a transformative decade.
