Combining post-hardcore and emo with a distinctly Hong Kong state of mind, veteran local outfit and key members of the Un.Tomorrow collective, An Id Signal, have been tearing it up at venues across the city for close to 20 years, having released their debut album ‘Known Strangers’ back in early 2007. Carving out a sound they call “soul punk,” the band are famed for their raucous live performances that crackle with emotion and unbridled energy, and have garnered a loyal following for their uncompromising attitude, profound spirit, and raw intensity.
