As partner programme of the citywide design initiative BODW in the city,the installation Energies of Repair uses images to explore two movements that define our changing world. The threatening un- livability of the Earth is made visible with scientific data. This is contrasted by con- temporary initiatives that work towards re- covery on different levels. On the outside of the installation, visitors experience a world of collapsing biodiversity and climate crisis, resource depletion, environmental injustice, and pollution. The inside shows a world being reconstructed, with activism, relocations, citi- zen-led collaborations, and low-tech strategies.

The installation is curated by Nicola Delon, an architect and the co-founder of Encore Heureux Architectes, an award-winning firm that among others was commissioned to curate the French Pavilion at the 16th International Venice Biennale of Architecture in 2018, for its “Infinite Places” exhibit. It is an inventory of spaces that embodies the unexpected and a sense of common aspiration.
