北山堂自文物館1971年創館伊始，歷年惠贈璽印超過1,800方。其數量多、品類豐富，並具學術與藝術價值，讓文物館此項收藏在全球大學博物館中獨佔鰲頭。是次展覽聚焦其中近400件精品，涵蓋先秦古璽至近代文人篆刻，以品類及歷史發展為線索，展示璽印演化的脈絡。
