The White Christmas Street Fair, Swire Properties’ annual community celebration, is set to return from 11 to 14 December to “Colour the Season”. A reimagination of the city’s distinct visual identity, this year’s Street Fair will illuminate Taikoo Place with the vibrant colours of Hong Kong’s signature neon lights.
The Street Fair experience will extend beyond Tong Chong Street, Taikoo Square and Taikoo Park to immerse the community in festive cheer, beginning with an urban light tunnel right outside the Taikoo MTR station exit and bringing surprises to every corner of the Taikoo Community.

Some of the most anticipated attractions of this year’s White Christmas Street Fair include:

Aligning with Swire Properties’ Sustainable Development (SD) 2030 Strategy, the White Christmas Street Fair continues to work towards the goal of being a zero-waste event. The signature neon sign will be deconstructed and upcycled into table lamps, and the Street Fair will once again adopt ecofriendly measures such as onsite reusable cutlery rental and the use of fully recyclable production materials and methods including honeycomb board and quartz sand 3D printing technology.
In partnership with Recyclink, a sustainable event solutions consultancy founded by SPPA alumni, the Street Fair will quantify carbon emissions by installing 8 electricity meters to monitor electricity consumption and conduct a comprehensive assessment of the event’s carbon footprint to identify further reduction opportunities for future events.
The White Christmas Street Fair is designed, planned and executed by the 2025 cohort of the SPPA – Swire Properties’ flagship youth empowerment initiative. Inspired by the Company’s placemaking commitment and the rich history of the Eastern District, the team picked Hong Kong neon lights as the main inspiration for this year’s theme, “Colour the Season”.
The Placemaking Academy Junior Programme, the third edition of the collaboration between SPPA and the E-League Programme run by the Eastern District Office, recruited five talented secondary school students from the district to be the masters of ceremony for the Street Fair.
The Street Fair will once again raise funds for Operation Santa Claus to help those in need.
