昔有惡火為患，令大埔宏福苑居民痛失家園摯親。慈山寺同感哀憫，遂於罹難者頭七日，懸幡啟壇，弘開法筵，施放「三大士瑜伽燄口」，饒益十方。
願楊枝淨水遍灑三千，火燄化紅蓮；
願佛慈廣大不捨矝愍，亡靈免針咽；
願各方善信同作佛事，息災利人天。
