大埔宏福苑於2025年11月26日發生災難大火，造成嚴重傷亡及摧毀逾千戶居民家園，香港道教聯合會（下稱「本會」）全體同仁對此深感哀痛。面對這次災難浩劫，本會與會屬宮觀壇堂本著「慈悲度人」的信仰，決定集結道教界力量於12月2日（首旬‧頭七）啟建超度法會
