Central Yards Edible Art Fair officially opens to the public for 11 days from tomorrow, 26 March 2026, and runs through 5 April 2026. Blending art, taste and imagination into a multi-sensory journey, this Hong Kong-first immersive experience is designed to delight people of all ages. Across ten distinct, playful galleries inspired by iconic art movements, visitors can explore a truly ‘delicious’ new form of art, with a creative edible delight paired to each art installation. Proudly sponsored by Central Yards, the Fair is a not-to-be-missed event in Hong Kong’s Arts Month.

Ms. Arbiona Cadman, Founder and Managing Director of Central Yards Edible Art Fair, said: "We are thrilled to make our debut during Hong Kong Arts Month 2026 and invite the locals and tourists alike to experience art in a new dimension. Central Yards Edible Art Fair is about discovery and delight – seeing, savouring and sharing art together. The Fair champions the true 'Made in Hong Kong' spirit, brought to life with the support of remarkable local talent. We’re excited to add something original to the city’s cultural calendar and warmly welcome everyone to join the journey.”

Tom Andrews, Director and Head of Leasing & Operations of Central Yards, said: “We are proud to support the Central Yards Edible Art Fair—Hong Kong’s first of its kind. Bold in vision and rooted locally, the Fair marks the beginning of a new story that reimagines how art is experienced in the city. By fusing art with edible creativity, it introduces a unique experience that makes art more accessible and inclusive, inviting people of all ages and backgrounds to participate. As we prepare to unveil Central Yards Phase 1 in 2027, this celebration echoes the spirit of Central Yards—imaginative, inclusive, and alive with creative energy.”

A Feast for the Senses: Ten Curated Journeys Through Art You Can Taste

Step into a world where art comes alive through both sight and taste. Across ten immersive galleries, each inspired by an iconic art movement, visitors embark a journey where every installation is thoughtfully paired with a specially crafted edible delight. Accessible to all and designed to thrill, this highly photogenic, one-of-a-kind experience redefines how art is explored while celebrating the ‘Made in Hong Kong’ spirit with site‐specific works by two renowned artists, Angela Yuen and Frog King (Kwok Mang‐ho), spotlighting the Hong Kong Contemporary Art movement and the New Ink Art movement.

Kick-off the journey with “Pop It!”, a playful burst of balloons, colour, and Neo-Pop art energy. Try the claw machine to retrieve a Jelly Dog, and capture standout shots against the reflective, bubble-filled backdrop. Then step into “The Magic Makers” presented by local artist Angela Yuen, where a whimsical Hong Kong tale unfolds through manufactured relics, from classic vintage toys to everyday electronic parts, tracing the city’s past, present and future, paired with Choc Duck which is inspired by a nostalgic local favourite toy.

“Roll with It” brings colour, light, and geometry together in a modernist cascade of Fruit Ribbons ready for visitors to savour. At “Drip”, bold, abstract‐expressionist flows become a living painting, where visitors can pull a Liquid Palette drink straight from the installation.

“Go Bananas!” leads you through a mirrored fruit tunnel for mesmerizing photo moments, finished with a witty Banana bite. In “Feast Your Eyes”, peek into dreamlike scenes to uncover The Tin, a silky coconut panna cotta with Dali‐esque surprises, then wander a vividly staged table that brings Surrealism to life.

“Blue-tiful” immerses visitors in hypnotic shades of blue and optical illusion, paired with Eggie in Blue, crafted with Social Goods Modern Bakery. “Bloomin’ Marvelous” invites calm in a magical garden of oversized blooms, matched with the floral‐topped In Bloom.

At “Cabinet of Curiosities” inspired by Spatialism, colourful drawers hide secret delights, open one to find the Hidden Gems. The journey crescendos in “Frogtopia” by artist Frog King (Kwok Mang‐ho), a joyful fusion of chaos, connection, and creative liberation. Step into his playground to experience the philosophy “art is life, life is art” through a vibrant, participatory installation. Here, crunchy Froggy Biscuits bring his spirit to the tip of the tongue and the taste buds.

Together, these ten experiences reimagine how art is explored and enjoyed—through sight, taste, scent, sound, and touch—turning every visit into something to live, learn, and remember.

Craft Your Own Edible Art: Paint the Town Workshop

Extend the journey at Paint the Town Workshop, where creativity becomes deliciously tangible. Blending artistry and flavour, this interactive experience invites visitors to design a one-of-a-kind edible palette on a cookie backdrop, which is displayed on a personal easel. Participants choose their favourite hue from a dazzling array of colourful icing tubes, each brimming with a distinct flavour that guarantees sweet surprises with every creation.

Paint the Town Workshop takes place on weekends on 28 to 29 March and 3 to 5 April, with four sessions offered each day. Priced at HK$280 per person, tickets to the workshop are available separately at an exclusive 15% discount for Central Yards Edible Art Fair ticket holders.

Sip, Savour, Chat: A Hub to Gather

Central Yards Edible Art Fair will also feature a vibrant lounge where visitors can gather, connect, and relax. Designed as a social destination within the event, this dynamic space invites guests to linger, soak in the creative atmosphere, and engage in conversations about art, culture, and everything in between.

In collaboration with Peridot, a sky-high bar known for its with panoramic views, coveted for their terroir-cocktails, and plant-based eats—curates a bespoke selection of signature cocktails and mocktails drinks exclusively for the Fair’s bar.

Meanwhile, the Monocle Café, an extension of the global lifestyle and culture label, introduces an international perspective through its signature café offering within the fair, blending global international sensibilities with a strong sense of place. The brand will also present its signature Monocle Shop, featuring a curated selection of worldwide lifestyle merchandise, travel gear, stationery, and more. The special collaboration with Monocle further highlights the Fair’s vision of establishing a fun and forward-thinking platform that celebrates creativity, craftsmanship, and cultural exchange.

International Art Movements Presented in a Bold New Way

The “Pop It!” gallery, inspired by the Neo-Pop movement, is an installation delightfully decorated with reflective bubble shapes in different sizes. A jelly balloon dog confection is retrieved from a giant claw machine that dominates the space. “Roll With It”, inspired by Modernism, features colour block light boxes and panels. An attendant serves guests with a colourful piece of savoury and sweet edible ribbon – available in an assortment of block colours.

Expressionism is the inspiration for “Drip”, featuring floor and walls decorated in the expressionist style and a drink experience offering flavoured drinks through coloured tubes, which are served to visitors. “Go Bananas!” represents the Conceptual Art movementthrough a playful display of replica fruits taped to the wall. Extending the sensory journey, a delicious miniature edible banana taped to a board is offered for visitors to take.

The Surrealism movement is represented in “Feast Your Eyes”, with a fully laid table inside a veil of curtains. Visitors put their heads behind the veil to discover the vivid setting. A tin of edible pearls offers an unexpected Dali-esque element of surprise. “Blue-tiful” is an optical illusion focused on perspective that highlights Optical Illusion Art and plays with the shape of an egg to form a perfect round shape within an immersive, blue-lit backdrop. In this gallery, visitor will receive an ‘Op-art egg’, an egg-shaped puff pastry filled with egg custard, presented in a classic egg carton, extending the Optical Illusion Art experience into a perfect multi- sensory indulgence.

The Impressionism movement is showcased in “Bloomin’ Marvellous”, an installation in two parts. First, a garden of giant flowers followed by a floral animation gallery with bean bags. ‘Focaccia flowers’ are blooming throughout the gallery, each delicate paper blossom cradling a piece of focaccia at its centre, filling the space with the rich aroma of olive oil and rosemary that entices every visitor to take a bite. A study in Spatialism is presented in “Cabinet of Curiosities”, where guests are invited to pick a ball from a colourful central display before opening a matching cabinet. Inside, a chocolate bonbon awaits – igniting the taste buds in a sweet cocoon.
