探尋歷史洪流中的人性力量
 
英法戰爭已是終局，貞德命定火海。百年間風風雨雨、沸沸揚揚，最扣人心弦的一秒，是貞德拾起那份天真而執著的至善。愛爾蘭劇作家、諾貝爾文學獎得主蕭伯納的歷史名作 — 《聖女貞德》，又怎會止步於只講跌宕起伏的歷史故事？
 
這部百年前的現實主義戲劇作品歷久彌新，勇猛與平庸、遊移卻頑強，何謂聖人？聖人何為？新銳導演朱啟軒以別出心裁的改編，用當代劇場的手法詮釋貞德的人性力量，似問若答，為黑盒劇場帶來一抹亮色。
