當音樂遇上繪畫──流動的旋律與靜態的彩繪融會碰撞──會創造出一個怎樣的視聽實驗空間？ What would happen when music meets visual arts? Harmonic collages of imageries and melodies that will blow your minds? 兩位本地藝術家 Rita Ip (古惑貓) 和 Jamaika Wong (小玄子)，運用木琴和小結他兩種木製樂器，揉合二人對音樂創作與視覺藝術的熱情，共同製作今次「聽 。見二重奏」繪畫作品展。 兩位藝術家同為本地資深插畫師；Jamaika 醉心以水彩作為繪畫媒體，而Rita集多媒介視覺藝術與音樂創作於一身。二人作品曾分別於多個本地不同藝術展覽展出。是次攜手創作，在木製樂器上作大膽嘗試，「合奏」出一系列繪畫作品。 是次展覽除可以欣賞兩位藝術家共同創作的作品外，展覽開幕當日還有小型音樂會，二人用木琴和小結他即席演出。感情聲音在彩繪之間靜靜流動，讓參加者親身體會「聽」和「見」同時帶來跨感觀的藝術經驗。 What would happen when music meets visual arts? Harmonic collages of imageries and melodies that will blow your minds? is a cross-over experiment where one interprets music visually and expresses colors in musical harmony. Local artists Rita Ip and Jamaika Wong see music and visual arts were always connected. Sprang from their passion in art ‘fusion’, two artists collaborate on turning wooden xylophone and ukulele into pieces of artworks. Jamaika and Rita are both experienced illustrators in Hong Kong. While Jamaika finds primary inspiration from her muse in watercolor painting, Rita bridges together her talents as a musician and as a multimedia visual artist. Their artworks had showcased in various local art exhibitions and performances. This exhibition is their debut to ‘play a duet’ with music and imagination. Kicking off the exhibition opening ceremony will be a mini-concert featuring the artists and their hand-painted musical instruments. Experience for yourself how they ‘paint music’ in the ‘woods’!
