The process of augmenting or the state of being augmented. It is the amount of something being increased. It is to heighten, to exacerbate or aggravate. The Design Show - Augmentation, of the Bachelor of Design programmes jointly delivered by Swinburne University of Technology and City University of Hong Kong will showcase more than 100 pieces of work from the current graduates of the programmes BDCD - Bachelor of Design (Communication Design), BDDMD - Bachelor of Design (Digital Media Design), BDINT Bachelor of Design (Interior Design), and also the work of around 50 alumni. You will not only be able to see how well our current graduates can do, but also how much our alumni have achieved. The Design Show 2012 will also mark the inauguration of the Swinburne Design Alumni Association (SDA) – the Design Group of Swinburne Alumni Association (HK) Chapter. The launch of the group marks the beginning of a new era for Swinburne Design in Hong Kong, and celebrates the commitment of the Faculty of Design’s in promoting excellence in design education. The show is much bigger with more to show, and more exciting working to see. The design show this year guarantees a brand new experience that is ‘intensified’, and will ‘expand’ your imagination. Augmentation connotes a brand new experience of looking at a design show.
