THE CITY THAT NEVER SLEEPS is set in contemporary Hong Kong between the hours of midnight and dawn. Created by Hong Kong girls, and recent theatre graduates, Vicky Allington and Fiona Mackinnon the piece uses a mixed media approach to weave a patchwork of tales of city life at night. In a series of vignette scenes the night-time lusts, longings and lavatories of this great life affirming city of ours are explored to tragi-comic effect.
