「生息藝術展」環保的種子撒落在北京與上海之後，終將在這個夏天，播種在香港的土地上。八位香港本地藝術家，用油畫、短片、攝影、素描、音樂等多種藝術形式，表達對社會、對環境、對未來的信念和夢想，也向社會各界發出呼籲：從心出發關注社會，從細節出發實踐環保，為下一代保留大自然最原始，美麗的面貌。 生息的第一粒環保的種子於2011年在北京種下，於2012年傳遞到上海，今年，藝術家們將裝載著愛與信念的種子帶回香港。參與藝術展的藝術家均為香港藝術各界的出色代表,，除主策劃楊素珊女士及香港畫家陳竹君女士之外還包括香港著名導演林超賢，世界知名珠寶設計師翁狄森、香港金牌音樂人金培達、全方位創作及作詞人陳少琪、著名攝影師鄧炬榮以及環保藝術家郭遠堅。他們在藝術的創作中均融入了對自然的無限熱愛與對生命的無窮熱忱，直率而又誠懇地將心聲袒露在作品中，希望對待大自然，人類能夠多一份給予，少一點索取。 The Breathe Life Arts Exhibition was initiated and organized by Hong Kong painter Susan Yeung, together with seven the city’s renowned artists. Its mission is to arouse public awareness of environmental issues and protection via appreciation of the arts. The group has boldly propelled its ardent idealism into action. Through a diverse range of mediums such as oil paintings, short films, photography, sketching and music, artists from Hong Kong share their perception of society and its surroundings, expressing their thoughts and concerns about our environment and its future. The impressive team included artist Susan Yeung (楊素珊), painter Ada Chan (陳竹君), well-known director Dante Lam Chiu Yin (林超賢), world renowned jewelry designer Dickson Yewn (翁狄森), distinguished musician Peter Kam (金培達), celebrated lyricist Chen Shao Qi (陳少琪), acclaimed photographer Ringo Tang (鄧鉅榮) and environmental photographer Derek Que (郭遠堅). The Breathe Life group sowed their first seed in Beijing, and the hope is for that seed to grow into a strong and sturdy refuge for environmental awareness, and to continue expanding as the group exhibits in different cities around the world. This summer, for the first time on home turf, “Breathe Life Arts Exhibition – Love Continues in Hong Kong, 2013” will be held in July 2013 at ArtisTree, Island East.
