One day, she finally comes to face-to-face with her own reality, and starts to wrestle with her fear of abandonment and rejection, the anxiety that crops up as she accepts the fact that she’s 40 but still single, and the disappointments and internal conflicts that spring from all these truths. And she realises that all these struggles and failures are taking her on a journey towards ME, rather than HE. Delivered through songs from famous musicals such as Wicked, The Last 5 Years, Nine, She Loves ME, Once Upon a Mattress, Anyone Can Whistle, and plenty more from the genres of jazz and pop, with a healthy dose of humour. It’s an honest quest that illustrates a woman’s falling and failing, losing and searching, attaching and separating in order to find her heart’s belonging. To be or not to be, HE or ME?
