Throw together Tiffany and Luke of local indie outfit Hungry Ghosts with new members Owen Fung and Jon Mussell, you get Kestrels and Kites! Famous for their infectious indie pop songs and off-kilter gigs, Kestrels and Kites are eager to release their 3rd EP ‘Higher than Mountains’ in Hong Kong, following a recent Southern China tour. The 7 track EP was recorded and mixed by Luke Chow at Little Bay Studios. The new EP showcases the band’s growth and development since their second critically acclaimed EP ‘For Ben’. For this record, the band have decided to expand their musical pallet and produced 7 diverse tracks, while maintaining the classic indie rock sound the band is known for. Kestrels and Kites are set to celebrate their release at Backstage Live on the 4th July. They will be joined by two great sounding bands: ‘Pokemon Dad’ and ‘Seasons For Change’.
