The Genée International Ballet Competition is the annual flagship event of the Royal Academy of Dance, attracting the finest young ballet dancers from around the world. This year the competition returns to Hong Kong for the second time in its 87-year history. Candidates receive a unique opportunity working with renowned teachers and choreographers for five days, before competing for medals in the prestigious Final to be held at City Hall on 12 August. The Semi-finals offer a chance to see all candidates perform on stage across two days.
