In the heart of ART MONTH's festivities, and with the excitement of ART BASEL in the air, CURATOR Masterclass is proud to present a compelling artist talk at CVIEW. Mark your calendars for an enriching experience on the 23rd of March, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., as we host an engaging conversation with the venerated abstract artist HO KAN 霍剛. This event will feature a dialogue with the CURATOR Group's illustrious founder, Mr. Vincent Wu.

HO KAN's journey through the world of art began in 1932 in Nanjing, China, with Taiwan playing a crucial role in shaping his artistic development. Mentored by Li Chun-shan starting in 1951, HO KAN's exploration into modern art has been profound and influential. His co-founding of the Ton-Fan Group in 1957, alongside the pioneering Eight Great Outlaws, marked a defining moment for modern art in Asia.

Throughout his career, HO KAN has crafted a diverse array of works, transitioning from early surreal "mental images" characterized by their subdued color schemes to striking geometric abstractions inspired by his time in Milan. His later pieces, post-1960s, are known for their bright hues and minimalist design, indicative of his artistic maturity and reflective of both inward contemplation and outward inspiration. His art represents a harmonious fusion of surrealism, geometric abstraction, and rich cultural storytelling, all resonating with a deep spiritual and evolutionary artistic essence.
