序言書室是香港一間人文學科及社會科學之中英文書籍的樓上書店，亦會不定期舉辦各項文化活動，如讀書會、新書發佈會等，藉此推動閱讀風氣。

序言書室作為一間文化學術書店正是要提供一個空間，讓人群聚合，互相激活對人生的感動和思考。希望書室能讓人多一點思索，少一點麻木。

We are a group of young people determined to give ourselves to the cultural development of Hong Kong. Our first step is to open an academic bookstore, Hong Kong Reader, which sells mainly books on Humanities and Social Science. It is our aim to provide the room and space for communication and discussion, which would gather people sharing the same enthusiasm in the social and cultural development in Hong Kong. With such a community, we aspire to promote the habit of reading, increase social and cultural consciousness and enhance our civil society.
