FAMA Hong Kong

The Foundation for Arts and Music in Asia Ltd. was formed to increase the awareness of classical vocal music in Asia and to encourage participation in its promotion by individuals and both private and civic groups. The Foundation (FAMA) works with governmental agencies, private individuals and groups on a wide range of activities including the Metropolitan Opera HK broadcasts of live performances and promotes community outreach to raise awareness of vocal music. The Foundation also supports selected individuals in the pursuit of their studies. The Foundation aims to be a supportive mechanism for audience and financial development for other Arts organisations.

亞洲藝術音樂推廣基金會的創立目的，乃為提昇亞洲各地對古典聲樂的認知，鼓勵各界人士、私營機構及公民團體積極參與並推廣活動。基金會一直致力與政府團體、獨立工作者及私營機構合作，舉辦各式各樣的音樂活動，當中包括紐約著名歌劇院Metropolitan Opera 以高清技術放送現場歌劇演出至香港的活動；同時亦提倡社區聲樂發展，廣泛提昇各界對聲樂的興趣，更竭力支持多位獲甄選的音樂學生繼續深造。亞洲藝術音樂推廣基金會的目標，是致力為廣大觀眾提供支持機制，並於經濟上協助其他藝術機構發展。
