Opera Gallery Hong Kong highlights the benefit of art as a method of healing, showcasing numerous pieces by featured artists like Marcello Lo Giudice, Alfred Haberpointner, Zhuang Hong-Yi and Wang Ye-Han who express their creative use of texture and colour to captivate the viewers. For example, the red used in Austrian wood sculptor Alfred Haberpointner’s W-SIUL is a colour that is warming, heating, positive and stimulates the body when you are drained of energy. French-Chinese contemporary artist Feng Xiao-Min’s Peaceful is dominated with the colour blue, which is said to have a soothing, calming effect. More than 12 pieces of colourful artworks are available to view in the gallery from today onwards.
